Clinton-Macomb Public Library
Local history room Digital guide to resources on library website. Has maps awaiting restoration, to be uploaded to Hyperion on library catalog. The Donald W. Green Local History Room is located in the main branch of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library located at Romeo Plank and Canal Road in Clinton Township. The history room is on the second floor of the library. A room pass key must be obtained from the Reference Librarian. The room is open during regular library hours. The local history collection contains over 2,000 volumes and continues to grow. There is a complete set of the Pioneer History collection; an almost complete collection of all Michigan History Magazine issues; a growing collection of local area maps; the 1928 Pageant of Progress published by Nellis Newspapers; a collection of video and DVD on local history subjects and programs; computer hook ups at reading tables. The Clinton Township Historical Commission meetings are held in the room. The Greater Clinton Township Historical Society meets in the library main auditorium.
