July
The New Baltimore Historical Society will once again be hosting "Summer's Not Boring" at the museum on Washington St. Every Wednesday will be a different program, hosted by Beth Bagley-Stanton. Some of them include making your family tree, sign language, and a talent show! Programs are at the Grand Pacific House Museum from 11 to 11:40.
The Warren Historical and Genealogical Society will have the Bunert School Museum open from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, July 4.
In Memorial Park on July 7th the St. Clair Shores Concert in the Park series will be honoring Service people. The Macomb County Historical Commission will also be awarding the Alexander Macomb Award at that time.
The Greater Clinton Township Historical Society along with the Clinton Twp. Historical Commission will have the historical village open and have fireworks when it gets dark on July 7. Also on July 14 and 21 the Village will be open.
On July 11 the Chesterfield Twp. Historical Society will have their Historical Village at 47275 Sugarbush Rd. open from 1 until 3 pm.
The Romeo Historical Society will host Romeo Sidewalk Sales and Street Festival on July 16 to 18.

August
The Crocker House Museum will host a garden party, "Affair at the Fenton" on Sunday, August 1. They are located at 15 Union Street in Mt. Clemens, (586) 465-2488, www.crockerhousemuseum.com.
The Warren Historical and Genealogical Society will have the Bunert School Museum open from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 1.
The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will have their historical village open Sunday, August 8 from 1 to 3 pm. It is located at 47275 Sugarbush Rd.

The Washington Historical Museum is located at 58230 Van Dyke in Washington. It is open from June-November on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1 to 4 PM. The museum is located in the old Washington High School. It consists of two floors of many interesting exhibits. Admission is free. This is sponsored by the Greater Washington Area Historical Society.
The Ste. Claire Voyageurs will be holding their annual Encampment at Metro Beach Metropark (end of 16 Mile Road) on Saturday, August 28th, and Sunday, August 29th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Come and learn about the history connected with the Voyageurs, early settlers, Native Americans, and military of the Great Lakes during the fur trade era. This reenactment includes demonstrations of canoe building, traditional crafts and skills, trade goods and artifacts, blacksmithing, campfire cooking, military life, cannons and weaponry, period music, dance, stories, lectures, and more! The Chesterfield Twp. Historical Society will be celebrating Heritage Day from 10:30 until 3:30 in the Historical Village. All the buildings will be open. There will be games and activities for the children, guest speakers, music, craft demonstrations, classic and antique cars, refreshments, and more!

The Fraser Historical Commission will be holding a Flea Market/Barn Sale and Garden Walk for Master Gardeners on September 12 (rain date September 19th) from 9 am until 4 pm. This will be at the Baumgartner Museum at 18577 Masonic, cross road Kelly.
The New Baltimore Historical Society will host the History Fair in downtown New Baltimore on Saturday, Sept. 18. One of the participants will be the 15th Michigan Volunteer Infantry. They will be doing drills and mock battles throughout the day at Walter and Mary Burke Waterfront Park.
The Greater Clinton Township Historical Society along with the Clinton Twp. Historical Commission will have the Festival of the Senses with docents, blacksmiths, make it and take it crafts, and more on September 24-26 at the historical village located at Canal and Romeo Plank (next to the library).
The Greater Washington Area Historical Society will host the Fifth Annual Washington High School Alumni Day on September 26 from 1 to 4 pm and the museum will be open.

The Crocker House will have their cemetery walk on Saturday, October 2. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. A separate funeral tea will be held. The Crocker House Museum is located at 15 Union Street in Mt. Clemens and their website is www.crockerhousemuseum.com

The Fraser Historical Commission will be holding a Barn Sale Clearance Sale from 1 pm until 4 pm on October 3. This will be at the Baumgartner Museum at 18577 Masonic, cross road Kelly.
The Mt. Clemens Historical Commission will host its 17th Annual Historic Homes Tour on Saturday, October 9. Tours begin at 9 am and run every 20 minutes thru 2 pm. Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Buses depart from Roskopp Parking Lot next to the Anton Art Center at 125 Macomb Place in Mt. Clemens. Tickets are $12.
The Romeo Historical Society will have the Romeo Harvest Festival and RHS Cemetery Walk on October 9.
